Parks Update
Residents will be pleased to note that installation of the new gym equipment at Double Bay is almost completed. In addition, Cr Connolly’s office has advised us that work is proceeding on the half-court basketball facility and the new dog park in Grand Parade with project design almost completed and work expected to commence before the end of this year. These projects have been the result of ongoing liaison between KIRA and Cr Connolly and we are very grateful for his assistance and support.
Kawana Island Spruce-Up
Thanks to all the residents who reported areas around the Island which could use a little love. Input for this initiative from residents has been compiled and presented to Cr Connolly for work to be undertaken by Council. KIRA has met with Cr Connolly and Council officers and looks forward to seeing some visible improvements in the Island’s general appearance.
