Welcome to the Kawana Island Residents Association (KIRA)

Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Kawana Island is perfectly located less than 10 minutes from some of the Sunshine Coast’s popular beaches, Kawana Shopping World, and a short drive south to the Caloundra CBD, or north to Maroochydore CBD, providing a great place to live for an ideal work/life balance.

Kawana Island has been designed with a community focus in mind, and this prompted the Kawana Island Residents Association (KIRA) to be established, with the goal of working with all relevant parties to ensure that “Our Island” continues to be one of the most desirable locations to live on the Sunshine Coast. We would like to increase our membership from the current 500 to over 2000 residents.

The KIRA website, as well as our facebook page, provide a way to help connect the community to let all residents have a voice on how Parrearra’s Kawana Island is managed and maintained, and to provide a central point for information to be shared for upcoming community events, local activities, and any other concerns, to ensure we can all work together to provide a truly enjoyable place we can all call home.
